Strong Leaders ... Strong Values.

A boy led troop backed up with adult guidance.

Celebrating over 30 Years of Scouting

Troop 776 meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbian Center, 2324 Pump Road, on Monday nights. We are located 1/2 mile north of Godwin High School on Pump Road behind the Rescue Squad building. PLC (Patrol Leader Council) meetings are usually held on the 3rd Monday of the month.  The troop is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

The Troop has been meeting regularly for over 30 years in the far west end of Richmond. The Troop maintains an active schedule with monthly camping trips throughout the year. Adding our camping trips with events for the Heart of Virginia Council, Montfair 50 miler backpacking trips, Order of the Arrow, Seabase, Double H and our own Philmont Crews can add another 10 to 30 nights per year. Now that's what we call active!

Troop 776 has an active 12 month program of camping and hiking in the mid-atlantic region and we attend summer camp every summer. We have hiked most of the Appalachian Trail from southern Pennsylvania to southwest Virginia. Some of our scouts have backpacked over 350 miles with the troop.
